Roland Radiation offer several different styles of thyroid shields, all designed for comfort and ease of use with varying shielding options.

Our thyroid collars can be supplied in matching fabric designs, to match aprons, and we also offer monogrammed embroidery options for quick identification purposes and personalisation.

The collars can be attached permanently to the apron, either permanently or detachable with a clip.

Soft Style Thyroid:

Our Soft Style Thyroid collar is comfortable to wear and one of our most popular styles.  One size fits all with the use of fully adjustable velcro.  No binding on this shield makes it comfortable and flexible against the skin.  

Mandarin Style Thyroid:

Roland's Mandarin Style Thyroid collar has increased coverage offering more protection.  One size fits all and it's velcro closure allows more adjustability.  Comfortable to wear while providing additional sternum protection.

U Shape Thyroid:

Our "U" Shape design thyroid shield offers a large coverage area with fully adjustable velcro.  No binding makes this style comfortable and flexible against the skin when wearing.

Small Mandarin Style:

The popular Small Mandarin Style Thyroid Shield is ideal for those wearers that prefer the rigid neck protection.  Adjustable velcro allows for flexibility in sizing and is extremely comfortable to wear.

Available in , 0.50mm pbe, 0.35mm pbe or 0.25mm pbe levels of shielding.

All thyroid shields are manufactured in Australia using a Bilayer lead free material that meets IEC 61331-3:2014 and AS/NZS IEC 61331.3:2022.
