Our Roland Radiation skull caps are designed to protect against scatter radiation.

They are lightweight, innovative and inexpensive, and can be manufactured in any lead equivalence.

The elasticised velcro closure makes the cap easy and comfortable to wear for long periods at a time.  We offer a wide range of pattern designs that can be matched with existing lead aprons.

Small - 46 - 52cm

Medium - 53 - 59cm

Large - 60 - 65cm

Available in , 0.50mm pbe, 0.35mm pbe or 0.25mm pbe levels of shielding.

All thyroid shields are manufactured in Australia using a Bilayer lead free material that meets IEC 61331-3:2014 and AS/NZS IEC 61331.3:2022.
